Fun, Fellowship and Faith

will focus on John Wesley and our Methodist heritage each Wednesday night from September to May with…

Wesley Wednesdays

Our Wesley Wednesdays kick off on September 10^th.  Cathy Bryant and Heather Humphries have planned for a variety of speakers to introduce and teach about John Wesley throughout the coming year.  There is so much to learn!  We’ll start with some basic history about John Wesley, about his family and the grassroots beginning of his “Holy Club” that would eventually become known as the United Methodist Church. 

In the midst of learning more about John and Charles Wesley and the early start of the Methodist Church, we will be celebrating some of Trinity’s history as well.  We will mark the anniversary of the laying of the cornerstone of Trinity’s sanctuary on September 17^th.  This will be a very special program designed by our historians, Joe Ann Lever and Doris Wright, with some distinct guest speakers.

You will want to plan on attending Wesley Wednesdays throughout this coming year.  Let us renew our faith by learning and remembering how we have come together, this day, as Trinity United Methodist Church.  May we be formed by the example of those who have gone before us, those who have paved the way for living as faithful Methodists today.
